Transistor pulse-width frequency converter.

Abstract

The described transistor frequency converter with pulse-width modulation (PWM) of the first kind. The diagrams of stresses on its main elements are given. It is shown that the use of PWM of the first kind allows to obtain at the output of the converter width-modulated voltage of low-low frequencies directly from the high-frequency signal without intermediate filters and thereby increase the speed of the converter, and the use of a notch filter makes it possible to combine frequency and voltage control on the motor in one channel.
