Switching overvoltages when switching on and switching failures of bulk windings of asynchronous motors.
Abstract
The results of the analysis of oscillograms of switching overvoltages with the inclusion of three-phase asynchronous motors of the AO2 and 4A series in the network are given, and the regularities of their formation are established. Based on the mechanism of occurrence of switching overvoltages, hypotheses of switching failures of windings are proposed, which well explain the equal probability of breakdown of the weakest isolation link located anywhere in the winding.
