Abstract

A basic cycloconverter with a three-pulse power circuit on 18 thyristors has been developed, which makes it possible to obtain a series of unified frequency converters for asynchronous electric drives of cranes. It is shown that the cycloconverter control systems with the constancy of the asynchronous motor magnetic flux, which provide all the characteristics necessary for a crane electric drive, are implemented most simply. In particular, when the output frequency is changed in the range of 6–30 Hz, a stable operation of the drive is ensured with load fluctuations in the range of 0–2 MN. Il 2. Bibliogr .: 1 titles.
