Application of field analysis to improve the design of traction asynchronous motors

Abstract

The search and analysis of optimal designs of a traction asynchronous engine designed to drive compressors of brake systems of electric locomotives was performed. The main criteria when comparing various engine variants are the values ??of starting torque and current, as well as the temperature of the stator winding. All the main characteristics of the engines obtained by the theory of the electromagnetic field.
