On the influence of the shape of the grooves on the magnetic field in the air gap of an asynchronous machine.
Abstract
An experimental study of the effect of the real slot configuration on the spectral composition of the machine’s magnetic field was carried out using a simulation method using electrically conductive paper. It is shown that the error from ignoring the real shape of the grooves for the interval of geometric dimensions corresponding to conventional asynchronous machines does not exceed 3.5%.
