Abstract

The issue of increasing the capacity of power transformers with the help of low-voltage capacitor batteries (KB) is considered. Using the digital computer, dependences were obtained confirming the possibility of facilitating the operation mode of a power transformer or replacing it with a less powerful one in the case of using low-voltage KB (payback period from 3 to 7 years). The formula for the ability of the power transformer and the network, as well as taking into account the reduction of electricity losses in them, is obtained. Tab. 2, ill. 4, bibl.1.
