Abstract

Improved substitution scheme of an asynchronousmachine with variable parameters that take into account the saturation of main magnetic circuit, edges of the cogs of stator and rotor, the skin effect in rotor winding is given. Starting characteristics are compared with the asynchronousmotor squirrel cage, designed for static and dynamic conditions with and without the parameters changes.
