Abstract
For the calculation of electric machines by the method of thermal equivalent circuits, a method of accounting for the heating of the cooling air flow is proposed. An equivalent circuit for calculating machines is given, in which the temperature of sources and nodal points, as well as the magnitude of heat fluxes to the cooling air and between the circuit elements are entered as unknowns. When calculating the temperature of sources and nodal points, it is proposed to take into account additional thermal coupling that appears when a cooling flow is introduced into the circuit by means of unidirectional thermal resistances.
