Search for optimal variants of non-metric windings of turbogenerators.
Abstract
The method of finding the optimal circuits of asymmetric windings using a computer is described. The task is divided into two parts: the determination of the best options for the unbalanced EMF and the design of the winding frontal parts. Optimization is extended to two-layer asymmetrical windings of two- and four-pole versions with three and four parallel branches, an integer number of consecutive turns, and an integral and fractional (up to 0.25) number of slots.
