The use of capacitors for braking asynchronous short-circuited motors.
Abstract
The main features of physics, application and calculation of capacitor braking of asynchronous motors are considered. Particular attention is paid to the need to take into account the loss in steel in the calculations. The influence of drive parameters and circuit on the nature of the braking process is considered. For analysis, use analog computers. The ways of optimization of circuits with capacitors are shown and the principles of rational construction of some of them are formulated.
