Switching overvoltages in energy transmission by pulsating current.

Abstract

The presence of two sources of emf. different frequencies of pulsating current transmission imposes certain conditions on the flow of transients during switching and on the method of their calculation. The article provides calculation expressions for currents and voltages when switching on the transfer of a pulsating current. Calculated expressions for voltages at the end of an open line with non-simultaneous switching of the switch phases are also given. These expressions are also suitable for AC lines. The article presents the generalized results of specific studies. Picture 1.
