Abstract

The analysis of the basic functions of the wavelet transform in the multiscale contour representation of images is performed. The article presents a comparative assessment of the frequency-selective properties of a number of symmetric odd basic wavelet functions. The calculation of the rational sampling rate when implementing on discrete filters. Investigated noise immunity.
