Analysis of sound source positioning algorithms in acoustic sensor networks.

Abstract

Methods of optimization were investigated to estimate the location of the sound source in acoustic sensor networks. A model computer experiment for a network of 12 microphones was established. It is established that the most suitable for practical application are nonlinear least squares algorithms, in particular, the Gauss-Newton and Levenberg-Marquardt methods.
