Multi-speed phase-modulated windings.

Abstract

The mathematical justification for the implementation of multi-speed windings using the phase modulation method is given. The method of constructing three-and two-speed windings according to the phase modulation method with any ratio of the numbers of pairs of poles is described. For two-speed windings, the use of which is most promising due to the small number of output ends (YY / Y or YY / соединения connection diagrams), two variants of phase zones distribution are possible. A comparison of the windings made by phase modulation and "phase mixing" shows that the use of non-selective windings with "phase mixing" for asynchronous motors with stepped speed control is unjustified. There are two options for drawing up multi-speed winding schemes using the phase modulation method with the numbers of pole pairs p1: p2 = 4: 5, placed in 36 slots. Tab. 1, ill. 3, Bible. 5.
