FUZZY MODEL FOR EVALUATION FRACTAL DIMENSION OF WHITE IRON IMAGING

Abstract

The article deals with the surfaces of the structures of white cast iron doped with vanadium
and the change in their fractal dimension, depending on the concentration of vanadium in the alloy.
Empirical distributions of local fractal dimensions of structures are constructed. A fuzzy model for
estimating the fractal dimension of images of white cast iron surfaces is constructed.
With the help of fractal image processing methods, images of the surfaces of white cast iron with different vanadium contents are analyzed. The fractal dimensions of the images of white cast iron using the classical Box Counting method are calculated, and the results for materials with different vanadium contents are
compared. Empirical distributions of local fractal distributions are constructed. A fuzzy model for estimating
the fractal dimension is constructed using the Fuzzy logic toolbox.
